Veg momos

Vegetable Momos 
Ingredients:
FOR DOUGH:
  • Maida-1.5 cups
  • Water for kneeding
  • Oil for greasing
For stuffing:
  • Cabbage-2 cup (finely chopped) 
  • Capsicums-1 (finely chopped)
  • Onion-3-4 (finely chopped)
  • Garlic-2tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Ginger-2tbsp(finely chopped)
  • Carrot-3-4(finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper-1 tsp
  • 2 tbsp oil
Method:
  • Firstly, prepare stuffing in a pan add oil and heat it and then add onions and sauté them and then add ginger and garlic(I use fresh ginger and garlic, if u want to use ginger garlic paste then u can add 2 tbsp of it)and sauté them.
  • Further, add all other vegetables and sauté them on high flame.
  • Now add pepper and salt to taste.
  • Now the mixture is ready keep it aside.
  • For dough, in a large bowl take maida and kneed it for at least 5 min, kneed to smooth and soft dough adding water as required.
  • Grease the dough with oil and rest for 30 minutes. 
  • After 30 min, take the prepared dough and kneed well again for a min. 
  • Further, pinch a small ball and flatten and start rolling by dusting with some maida.
  • Now place a heaped tbsp of stuffing in the centre and start pleating the edges slowly and gradually, press in the middle and seal the momo. 
  • heat a steamer and arrange the momos in the tray without touching each other.
  • furthermore, steam momos for 10-12 minutes or till shiny sheen appears over it.
  • Finally momos are ready enjoy with chutney.
